All models are highly integrated, compact systems that require little working space. The thermostatic bath, which offers extraordinary temperature stability, can house up to 4 viscometers, meeting even the needs of those facilities faced with high volume viscosity testing. Because of the relatively low volume of the bath, it can be brought to a stable temperature very quickly.

The viscometers are ergonomically placed inside the systems, which allows for easy removal and replacement within minutes. During normal operation (i.e. measuring, cleaning etc.) the tubes do not need to be removed from the bath. Only when you wish to switch the tube for one with a different constant do they need to be taken out.

Results are printed on-screen, to an optional external printer or software application.

The S-flow® viscometer type was designed as a high-speed, low-volume, solvent saving alternative for commonly used viscometers such as the Ubbelohde and Cannon Fenske. Although reliable, these types of viscometers can present the user with a number of disadvantages. For example, they require large quantities of both sample and cleaning and drying solvents; because of their large volume it's difficult to clean or dry these viscometer types completely and measuring times are generally long.

The S-flow® eliminates all these disadvantages. Because of the small volume of the viscometer, much smaller quantities of both sample and drying & cleaning solvents are required, which saves considerably on measurement costs and guarantees complete cleaning and drying.

Up to 90% savings on solvents are feasible compared to conventional viscometers.

The S-flow® viscometers have been developed for measuring times of 50-300 seconds and kinematic viscosity measurements of 1-3000 mm2/s and are suitable for both transparant and opaque samples.
